I don't have quite as much experience as you do swink, but I taught Violin to children at the Salvation Army for about a year. I must say, even though it was difficult at times, it was extremely rewarding. Another thing that I've found out, is that teaching isn't for everyone. Regardless of how much a person knows about their subject, they just have the hardest time giving that knowledge to others. Some people can't handle the pressures/responsibilities too. Sadly there are a few teachers at AIPX that really can't teach. They know their stuff, but when it comes to teaching what they know they fall short. Me and DiCo has this talk the other day - you are one of the smartest people I've ever met and you have an enthusiasm that rivals that of a porn star when it comes to your job. While DiCo is the type of teacher I'd ask for a realistic opinion, you are the teacher I'd ask to have a parent-teacher conference with my mom and dad. You've turned game design into a science and really have made me think about what that term entails. For this, I am eternally greatful because it has taught me a lot. Also, because of you, I myself have considered teaching. I know a lot about Source and if there was someone at the school to teach it, life would be easier for me. As such, I feel like one day I can make life easier for someone in my shoes. Thanks. On to reading...
