New Look!
As you can see, I’ve a new look for the site
.
All I know about CSS I learned last night, so I’m sure I’ll be working little kinks out for the next few days. Thanks once again to Dan Pratt for creating the artwork and to Matt Mechtley for the CSS crash-course.
UPDATE: Yes, I realize the site is schnitzel’d in IE. I’ll poke at it more later. Right now it is time to play Hitman: Blood Money.
UPDATE the Second: mostly working in IE now. For some reason, there’s a random “S” at the top right of the side bar. It does not exist if you view source, nor does it show up in Firefox, so I have no idea how track it down. Anybody know about phantom S’s?
Who cares about IE compatibility? People who don’t use a CSS-compliant browser don’t deserve to read the writings of sir swink. Let ‘em rot.
New design looks good.
peace.
This site is tiiiiiiiight.
I really am impressed with the graphic design - it’s quite excellent. A toast to this D. Pratt-a-tat fellow! I was equally impressed with how little futzing it took to (mostly) fix it in IE. That apparition of an S is still blowing my mind though. The png background is also still off since IE doesn’t support png gamma. However, I’ve learned that if you remove the gamma information entirely using pngcrush or something similar then IE should display it properly. I can show you how to do that if you’d like. Although as pat sagely noted, it may not be worth your time caring!
You can see this site from space. OUTER space.
prohahly would have been fresh 10 years ago. Now it just looks like another Nintendork fanboi sight
Stop killing my language. Any arguments you could possibly make have now been invalidated by your refusal to write above a first grade level.
i’ve seen lots of phantom s’s around. i used to have a gay roommate whom i nicknamed “s’s” or “essis” because when he talked all i heard was “ssssssss s sssss ss ssss sss ssssssss ssssssssss” or “ess esssss esse eses ssessse seses eseses es”
